Secret Pool in Coyote Gulch
I had heard of a secret pool in Coyote Gulch, near the Jacob Hamblin Arch. There is even a video, tho perhaps a bit old.
Well, we found it, upstream a ways from the arch. It is in a small side canyon on the east side of the gulch. The way in is a bit overgrown and beat up.

Last time we were there the trail was really overgrown with poison ivy. We hiked up on one of the ridges and looked down into it. Wasn't worth the ivy to get up to the pool itself

Watch for poison ivy anywhere in Utah that has water and shade because we have massive amounts of it lining our waterways.

BTW - the direct entry near the Jacob Hamblin Arch was just fine with a rope handline (tho not strictly necessary). Its a beautiful location.
