Cave of 200 Hands
I have looked for this a couple of times unsuccessfully. This year I went back to the same canyon with more time to look and not having to search the same ground twice I found it rather quickly. Can't believe how close I was on the previous trips.
This was a different panel a bit further up the same side canyon of Chesler Wash
But if I agreed with you, we would both be wrong.

possible signatures?
Hi - Have read about an old time Arizona road crew comprised of Native Americans from a local tribe. As each of them received a paycheck, they made their mark on the payroll ledger. As members of a Bear Clan, each member made a bear paw mark - each one stylized as his own. I notice in your fantastic photos that many of the handprint elements have unique designs implemented in them. It makes me wonder if perhaps each print represents a specific individual from a tribe which visited or resided there(?)

Did I see you were going to be on Cedar Mesa, Sept 30, thats cool, I'm picking up a rental 4 wheel in Page, traveling Sept 20 to Oct 7, just walking the hills solo! I am pretty experienced for a Jersey boy, so... let me know , Ed

Hi,
Where is this cave ? you have GPS coordinates for it ? I plan to hike in the Devil's Kitchen area in a few weeks and would love to see it.

Last I heard Denali was living in New Zealand. I have the waypoint at work if I can remember what I did with it. I used to swap NG Topo files with Denali all the time and have a lot of his Cedar Mesa stuff. I'll try to remember to look for it on Monday.
