Lost Creek Falls Provo Canyon - Hike up the Remnants of the Avalanche
I headed up this trail the last week of April, and I didn't connect that this reail is where the avalanche came down. I was at least smart enough to have my hiking sticks, and my spikes in my bag, for they were really helpful climbing up this glacier or the remnants of the Avalanche. It was such a unique hike with such stunning vistas. I got to the place that I thought looked like the photo I had seen of Lost Creek Falls, and Finished my blog post, but now I am thinking there might be even a better falls up just a little further. I think I turned just a little too soon. Any of you been up to see the falls? Anyone know if it really is still there after the Avalanche?
In any case hiking up an avalanche was super cool. Of course stay way to the side to avoid danger, but go check it out and let me know what you find. I definitely have it on my list to try again and see if there is even more to this cool hike. Click on my link to see videos, photos, information, and the 360 Google Earth Trail I created here.
