Buckhorn Wash
My idea of camping has always been in a trailer, with a 40-gallon water tank, full kitchen, and all the comforts of home. This weekend I decided to rough it, and headed down to Buckhorn Wash after work on Friday. I pretty much had the place all to myself--I only saw three other vehicles between Friday evening and the next morning. I did some hiking when I first got there, then I set up camp and started a fire to cook dinner on, drank a six pack and enjoyed the evening. Saturday morning I hiked around for a couple hours, then packed up camp before it got too hot. I spent the next few hours doing short hikes and sightseeing in Buckhorn Wash as I slowly headed toward home. Now is a great time to camp in the Swell, especially if you just do a one-nighter, arriving in the evening and leaving the next morning to avoid the heat. I don't think I've ever seen Buckhorn Wash so deserted on a weekend.
Anyway, on to the pictures.

I am from Slovenia and I would love one day to explore places like that in the US. There is just something epic about it.
