out here we call it water skipping. If your motor dies you sink.
Biggest problem is bouncing on the water and getting your clutches wet, then the belt just spins and you guessed it--you sink.
We used to run drag races down here on water with snowmobiles. |

| That looks pretty wild, nothing worse than having the motor die and you fall into the frigid water and loose your sled!! |

up Fairview canyon,couple lakes north and west of trial,panguitch lake and at the waterpits in Enoch where we used to race.
The ones in the mtns are all late spring. |
