| We took the kids out for a short hike to tire them out on Christmas Eve. It was nice weather and the kids had a ton of fun breaking all of the ice in the creek all the way up the canyon. There were only a couple places where there was water and a couple of the kids got wet but that only seemed to add to the fun. Hot chocolate and donuts at the end of the hike helped. Here are some pics. |

| Sounds fun! Donuts and hot chocolate after too! Your kids are lucky to have you, I would be stoked to do that on Christmas eve. :five: |

| Gotta be a good hike in winter. I went there last April. Lots of water, no ice, but also no sun to light up the rock. |
