It is a great area with alot of neat history. Our crew had just one active mormon, yet we were all intrigued by the voyage of early pioneers. I'm hoping to do the trail again, hopefully with more favorable weather, we would have really enjoyed the hike out to the lake along the original trail.
If you ever find yourself planning a HITR trip, LMK, I have all the tracklogs, GPS coords, etc. |

Here is a video I put together showing parts of the new section of Trail that by passes Lake Canyon and goes across Noki Dome. It ties back into the Hole in the Rock Trail near where the old trail tops out after coming our of Lake Canyon.
