I am really new to this forum - so forgive me if I don't know my way around yet! I've been in Utah about 6 months. Enjoying it {though a bit of an adjustment}. My partner and I did a hike to the beautiful Fifth Water Hot Springs near Spanish Fork! We found all 5 geocaches on this hike as well ... including a REALLY FUN one that was 25 feet up a tree. I took a few pictures of the springs themselves:
It was really a lovely hike! I am currently residing in South Jordan - so now I wonder ... what's next? What other great hikes are out there? I've been up to Donut Falls in Big Cottonwood Canyon - and also to Albion Basin out by Alta Ski Resort. My favorite so far has been the Hot Springs, t hough :-)
I am also REALLY looking forward to some snowshoeing and hopefully cross country skiing - although I am a novice at both! |

| Nice looking hot springs up there, so did you take some time to sit in them? It looks as though people have built it up a bit to make for a better soak. |

I only went once. I didn't even soak. I hiked my drum in and jammed on that throughout the night while the nude bathers did their thing.
It's nice to see it in the daylight. Thanks for the pics. :2thumbs: |

We didn't actually see any nude bathers, lol. Just families ... in Swimsuits! But there was a big sign on the fence with a "warning." Maybe they only come out at night?
That is a pretty excellent idea about hiking in a drum to bang on in the moonlight. That would be super-cool. |

| Welcome to the Jungle! Those are my favorite hotsprings! I've been up there many times a soaking....yeah, ran into several nudists...and yes, I did partake but you really gotta be careful if you decide to do THAT...youre better off having something on :haha: |
