My father-in-law and I did a little post Turkey day, cold weather biking up Payson Canyon. We did Jones Ranch from the lower portion and rode the pavement up about 3 miles to the top end, then trailed it back down. We thought about doing a longer trail up there, but I haven't ridden in 2 months because of school and work. I did not want to overdo it in the cold weather.
It was a balmy 32 degrees at 7500 feet when we started our ride at noon. By the time we finished our quick trip at about 1:30, it had heated up to a whopping 34 degrees.
We encountered a wee-bit of white stuff, and crossed the slush-frozen creek 3-4 times. Was a good ride. Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure.

| Nice ride there! I ended up riding the streets...didnt get my rear shock rebuilt in time to ride sooner than saturday :2thumbs: |
