I'm starting to go through our old camcorder tapes, to suck them onto a hard drive for backup/storage. Decided to throw a couple random clips from 2001 of Rainier and the Grand Teton.

Funny, I'm straying away from Alpine Climbing. :haha:
I was a bit disillusioned on Rainier. Spend all the time, money and effort and our summit success comes down to a flip of the coin for the weather cooperating. It didn't that time, so we didn't make it much past Muir. I can spend that same money and time to go scuba diving. Or do weekend warrior-ing. :roflol:
BUT I have to admit, I still get an alpine climbing itch every now and then and want to head up to Rainier or the Grand again. |

Found a couple other old vids from Scruffy Band area. Channel 4 news did a thing about ice climbing with us back in '00. These are little clips they took.
