Bo and I are meeting at the Chevron in Mt. Carmel Jct. at 1pm today to head to Red Canyon Slot. Easy easy hike.... but sandy long 4WD to it.

That is a very pretty slot! I was down there a year ago with the Kanab 4x4 club. That hill coming out was tough! I'd take my Jeep back but only in cool weather, when the sand is dense.

I think the club was at the T-bird Saturday morning but I decided to hike in the park.

Nice photos, Tanya. I was ready to do it last winter, but locals told us it was too deep for my Honda. After hearing that, I was out-voted 3 to 1.

I think of all the places we have taken the rover on our hiking adventures ... this is up in the top 3....


We have got stuck at Red Cave and that road out in the South Coyote Buttes area is deep!
