Had the fastest action of my life at Scofield today. I was a little worried about the recent full moon, but I ended up spankin'em.

| That trout is a monster. I may have to try to drag the family out for one more day. What was up with the throat thing on that trout? |

I'm not sure. It was growing out just like it showed in the pic. There was a small hole (tear?) in it up by the mouth. My guess is that it got hooked hard by someone when it was smaller, tore off, and managed to stay alive while it healed. Maybe it was caught by someone trolling and either tore off or got irresponsibly released with its injury. :ne_nau:
I kept it. That part was ripped away when I cleaned it, so I'm not worried. It still freaked me out a little. |
