Here it is Sombeech.
This is the helmet camera I mentioned the other day.
I really like it, am in AZ making some vids now.
It is simple simple simple. No lose wires, only 4AA batts and records to SD.
The whole thing is water/dust proof and very rugged.
The built in mic works great and the mount is plenty strong.
Can't wait to get some underwater shots along the trail.
I like it so much I convinced Gary to be a dealer and he is the lowest price on the web.

He will have a quality carrying pouch by next week.

Wow, I read some reviews on that, the whole loop feature and all, pretty cool. :2thumbs:
Can't wait to see some of the video. |

Loop mode rocks.
It basically records everything, but when you hit "tag" on the remote it save a segment of the video. I like the 3 minute setting so it keeps 1.5 minutes before and 1.5 minutes after I hit the tag button.
I really like being able to stop and do a quick review of the video I recorded on the screen. If it sucked I just hit delete. My Macs hard disks will love that feature.
There are samples on the vio website. |

Although I think the POV1 is a unique device I have a few issues with it. If you are posting to the web, then all is good and it is very nice to drag n drop files into your video editing software.
If you want to see my review, go to: http://www.helmetcamreview.com
I do side by side recordings and reviews so you can decide for yourself what you like :-)
Cheers,
