Talk about freezing my ass off. We got dropped off near Cascade Meadows and rode down to the SP overlook then down the SP downhill trail. The first mile or two was a muddy, slushy, snow covered mess ... but fun as hell.
How about this one for the slide show :roflol:

Sure was...
The top part of the ride was the dirt/mud/slush road, notice the pic... cars were driving it so i figured it would ok to ride a bike on it.
The lower part of the SP dh trail has been trashed by atv's, horses, and ORV for the last 30 years. Add in all the rocks and you cant even tell a bike was there. On the little bit of true single track we did ride there was a some mud but not much. We did pass a group riding horses that were tearing the trail up.. I also saw one take a shit RIGHT ON THE TRIAL. Dont worry, i waved my finger at them... you would be proud. |
