I was under the assumption that flows were down on the Weber. Well they are still close to levels I saw early to mid summer. I had mainly fished the Weber last year from Nov to around March so I am still having troubles with the high flows. Anyhow I hit up my areas, Henefer to Taggarts and did ok. I got 3 today on my old blue flox vibrax #2 in brass. I had a few scares thinking I was going to lose it, but had to go in and get it.
I did get to pratice with my fly rod for a while, still working on how to read the lay of river for fly fishing and what to tie on....
Where I did catch the fish took me back about 15 years where I would fish similar structures for smallies in the fall back in NY with the same lure.

| Ahhhhh yes, the water looks great and the fish are awesome as usual. Thanks for the pics... i cant wait to head up there and hit it... |

| Glad you all liked the photos, that is the best part of the trip in my opinion. I hope to have at least 2 reports a week now with my wife finishing up school this week. :2thumbs: |

Great pictures!
I avoid the Webeer below echo from March 15 to Oct 15. Flows go down after Oct 15 and that's when the fishing gets good. |
