So, with it starting to get cold and snow again, I have to ask... where do you ride in the winter time? Are there any places around Salt lake and Utah County that are still rideable in the winter?
Does anybody know where all the cool freeride stuff down in Hanksville is that's in all the mountain biking movies? |

I am in Logan and I rode Green Canyon (road packed with snow) once with knobby studded tires. I didn't like it too much.
I usually pack it up and head to the desert to bike during the winter (St. George usually).
Honestly though, there is snow to be had. Get some skis!! :haha: |

get a good pair of studded tires, lots of good quality layers of clothing, padding (for the falls on the slick stuff), and get ready for the 'Frozen Hog' in February :2thumbs: :cold: :cold: :roflol:
BUT, Bobsled would be fun to ride in the winter...challenging to say the least, and short....ok, maybe not the climb up but the downhill would be  |
