Another famous Moab bike trail. This trail is shared with 4X4 for part of the way.
Anybody go down this year?

That part feels like you're trying to ride across the Sahara :frustrated:
My first attempt was a couple years ago. It was the last day of my trip so I was already beat, but wanted to try it anyway. On top of that I somehow forgot my gloves, and things didn't work out. I do need to try it again though, maybe in October.
Sombeech, did you take the Portal Trail down, or did you come back the way you came? |

We came back the same way. I've heard that Portal Trail is pretty interesting, among the cliff. I'd like to try it.
I don't like the sand spots on the trail though. |

| I love this trail! we try to ride it at least to the rim each time but I haven't come down the Portal yet...Here's a pic of what seems to be the thing to do :nod: |
