Finally I had time to post some pictures from a backpacking trip to Packard Lake off of the High Line trail. The lake was about 3.5 miles in and we had the place all to ourselves. The weather was pretty good the whole week with the afternoon thunder showers that lasted no more than an hour. We did get heavy rain with thunder and lightning on Friday all day while we were hiking to Catherine Lake. Other than that the weather was great. The fishing was decent, but not as good as I would have liked it to be. Great trip with some beautiful country. :2thumbs:

Nice! :2thumbs: That last photo of the fire is just a typical scout fire which can only be appreciated from 10 feet back. :haha:

only 3.5 miles in? Sweet. That's probably all my knees could handle right now.

So whereabouts is the trailhead? I am very poor with my Uinta directions. Anything that doesn't involve the "road by the Bear River Service Station" loses me.
