Maverik stores is sponsoring a big geo-cache event. You don't have to purchase anything to get the caches, and their are a bunch of cool prizes in them.
None of the caches have been touched yet, so you should have a pretty good chance of actually finding a cache when you get there.
You can find all the information about the caches here:
http://maverikmonster.com/?free
The list should be updated with five more caches this weekend. So check back again for the new stuff.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions. |

| Hey, that's pretty cool! There are even a couple of caches down in the Swell. If I didn't already have plans tomorrow, I'd be all over it. Are these going to be listed on Geocaching.com ever (like, after the good swag is gone)? I'm looking forward to seeing where the five new ones are placed. |

I think you're supposed to take the cache when you find it. Don't worry about leaving anything behind. In fact, don't.

I looked for a couple of these a couple of weeks ago, but they haven't been where they were supposed to be.
Has anyone heard of anyone actually finging one yet? |

Yeah, don't worry about leaving anything behind, although you can if you want. We would ask that people leave the caches in place so others can find them.

We've had one reported find so far in Tooele. Let me know which caches you looked for so we can make note and update our page accordingly. |

Both the one in Bingham canyon, and the one up BCC on the way to Doughnuts falls are ones I have looked for. 99% sure the one in Bigham is gone.
If either of these could be verified that they are still in place I would go look for them again. |

We'll see if we can't have someone verify those locations. BTW, we just had our second cache found it Idaho at these coordinates:
42 17 03.0 N 113 25 28.4 W
Its supposed to be on an old Pioneer trail, and it sounds like the last guy to find it left a bunch of cool stuff in addition to what was already there. |

Not sure. The guy that found them didn't say. |
