I have been away and have not known about this. My bad.

Things are good for me. I just got a new laptop this last month (allowing me increased Internet activity), and I am going to head to Juneau Alaska in a month and I can't wait (Southeast Alaska is my favorite).

How are things in Connecticut?

Hellp, DiscGo. If you get the chance, visit Hyder in SE Alaska. This time of year, they have a gazillion grizzlies visit their little creek because the Chum Salmon are coming to spawn. Also great scenery nearby, with glaciers you can drive to and look down on. Wonderful, wild area.

hyder is definitely a neat place this time of year. kind of on the difficult side to get to if not driving in western b.c, though.

I assume you take the ferry to Juneau. You should be able to ferry to prince Rupert, BC. From there, it's not a long drive to Hyder. Not much of a town, no government, no pavement, just a couple dirt roads and a few businesses and homes.
