The 2006 Utah Caver Annual just came out.

It has some very good stuff in it, including an article on Nutty Putty that is interesting.

| good read. I remember going to Nutty Putty as a scout. It was awesome. Just a few years after my trip we tried to plan another outing there and the leaders wouldn't take us because of the filth and smell in the cave. I am glad to see it being cared for. Mabey soon I will be applying for a permit :2thumbs: |

It seems like a pretty easy process to get the key. I applied for the Blowhole key and was able to get access without any trouble.
I haven't done Nutty Putty yet. I should go out there and do it too. :five: |

| At the grotto meeting last night, they said because people keep breaking into the nutty putty gate, the land owners are again talking about cementing off the entrance. The timp grotto is still trying to work with them to keep access open. It might not hurt to go take a trip out there soon...it might be your last chance to visit the cave. |
