| I just got back from a multi-day trip (guided) down Lodore Canyon and now I need to share the river experience with my better half. It seems that Westwater is the obvious choice for a day trip. Is it still "good" in September or would we better of waiting until May or June? |

| Are you kidding? It's awesome in September, that is why it's practically impossible to get a permit then. Sept/Oct is a great time to go, it's perfect in a day and not hot in the camps |

| Westy is ALWAYS good. I prefer it at high water, but still love the trip at low, that's the beauty of the Colorado, and Westy is a 1-4 day trip, can't beat it. |

| Actually you can't really do more than 2 days in WW. The permit only allows for an overnighter. |
