| I've got a little trip planned tomorrow to go out to nutty putty cave out by Utah Lake. Taking the girlfriend to go see the cave and do a little geocahcing. (My new favorite activity) I'll post tomorrow and let you all know how it went. |

| So, did you end up going out to the cave? If so, was it still open? I run a website (http://udink.org/npc/) about Nutty Putty Cave, and a lot of people have been wondering lately if SITLA has closed it yet. |

Oh yea, we went out. I posted about it in another thread. Yes, it's still open. I heard there was a metal grate over the cave but it was no where to be seen.
For your site, it does need to be cleaned out. If people would each take a trash bag and on the way out pull some of the trash out, it would help out alot. The ropes were all still in good shape as well except for one. It was a little frayed but it held my 160 pounds. |

| Awesome, thanks for the reply. I keep meaning to get out there before they close it (if they really are going to close it), but I keep getting sidetracked with life. |

Yep, they're N40°05.846' W112°02.217'. I've also got a .loc file on my website (http://www.udink.org/npc/Nutty%20Putty%20Cave.loc) with waypoints for all the turns you need to make on your way there. |
