I will be going to Goshute Cave on June 23. This trip is open to anyone who is interested, and the cave is an excellent beginner cave. Well decorated, and mostly easy walking passageway. (With a few corners for those who want to crawl a little.) You can easily spend several hours in the cave, and longer if you try to get the perfect picture a lot. There is a bit of a hike up the hill to the cave--on a trail, but there is an elevation change of a couple hundred feet.

The biggest concern with this cave is distance from Salt Lake. It is approximately 1.5 hours out of Wendover. This means a very long day if you are travelling from Salt Lake and back the same day. 7+ hours drive time, plus several hours in the cave. Slightly shorter if you don't stop in Wendover for dinner. I am planning to stay in Wendover on one night with my immediate group.

Currently planning to meet in Wendover at 10:00 am, which would mean leaving Salt Lake by 8:00. Times will finalize by monday or tuesday of that week, if you are planning on coming please let me know a few days ahead of time so I have an idea of who to expect.

Feel free to contact me with questions, etc...
