| I carry both my Glock 23 and a Kahr 9mm with the in the pants hip holster made by galco. I also use a blackhawk retention holster for the Glock. The in the pant holster are the way to go if you ask me. |

| I just keep mine in my hand (old SW .38 spl w/Hyrdos). Somtimes I wave it out the window of my truck. |

I carry a Kahr .40 and a Glock 22. The Glock is my duty weapon, and rarely carry it off-duty. That's what the Kahr is for. I have a variety of holsters for it, including a Fobus Paddle, Galco IWB, and Bianchi Minimalist each for different occassions. If I do carry my Glock, it is in a Fobus Paddle that supports a tac light. Either way, they are all on my hip, always. When SHTF, it's all about muscle memory. I dont' want to have to think about where I put my gun today.
I have yet to find a good way to conceal this one. :ne_nau:

| The tac light on the Kahr? You mean the Glock? I like it alot. It's the Streamlight TLR-1 and it's a bright mo-fo. Has come any handy many times. When used at night, people don't even know they have a gun pointed at them. They just see blinding light. :2thumbs: |

Yep, thats what I meant!
My pops is an officer in Idaho and was talking last week about wanting a tac light on his Glock. I have never used an auto with a tac light so I thought I'd ask around for him.
LOOKS BADASS!! |

I highly recommend it. At $100.00, you can't go wrong. Is what is sad, is he'll spend more on a good duty holster to facilitate the light, then he will on the light itself.
Where in Idaho is your dad a cop? My father-in-law is also a cop in Idaho (Idaho State Police, Pocatello) |

You can get a belly band and carry that way as well.
My dad carries his S&W Airweight in his front pocket and I know several folks that do that as well.
I guess the point - if there is one - you'll have to try different holsters and configurations until you find the one that is best for you.
How do you like that Taurus?
Thinking of getting one this week |

The next time I make fun of a European’s fanny pack I just might get pistol whipped. :roflol:

| For me it depends on the situation. I voted Ankle because thats the way i carry 80% of the time. I work in a professional business setting so its slacks and a tucked in button up shirt. If its on my personal time its an in the pants holster, I have been know to carry in my laptop bag as well as in a coat pocket if its cold enough... I carry the XD Subcompact... |
