First week in Jan, just a short 4 months away. As soon as I get back I'm going to try Marjorie lake out (Labor day weekend). Later in Sept. I get to go south.
Edit:
We found a house, and its pretty much what we wanted. It boiled down to two houses, really. The very first one we looked at friday, and then again the first one from monday. Both were listed the same, but we made a low offer on the friday house. monday's was a little bigger, in a nicer area (not that the first one was bad). We made a strong offer on that one, as it would be our first choice. Nope, they wouldn't budge for diddle... :frustrated: 'em if they're too stupid to read the newspaper/WSJ, etc....housing sales are slumping. Over abudnance on the market.
The house from friday is vacant, which means thier a little more motivated.....we should be finishing the last bits of paperwork today, home inspection tomorrow.
I've already found places to fish and ride out here, too....too bad I don't have a pole nor my bike(s).... |
