For the first time in 11 years, there was a Moto GP race at Laguna Seca (near Monterey, CA) baby! July 8th, 9th, and 10th it was. Fortunately, myself and my brothers were in attendance, to watch Mr. Nicky Hayden take a much needed win in Moto GP. Colin Edwards snuck past "the doctor" (Valentino Rossi) for a 2nd place finish, and of course "the doctor" was 3rd. It was Valentino's first race for him at Laguna Seca, or in the US for that matter. While in the pits, I met Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainy (he was in his wheelchair of course) and Roger Lee Hayden to name a few. Oh, and I'll let you guess from the pictures who was there.

No, unfortunately I did not. I REALLY wanted a picture with him, but there was a large crowd, and he was just chillin' next to the trailer. If I had it to do again, I would have politely asked him for a picture, and he could have responded however he wanted.

No worries! It was a great time. Great track, great racks, and great riders! :2thumbs:
Glad you liked the eye-candy! There were some very nice young ladies in attendance that day!
Do you follow any MotoGP? I used to, but not as much these days. I hardly follow anything now. |

I just told them that I was a factory rep for team honda, and I could make them umbrella girls (girls that hold an umbrella to shield the sun from the top racers)! :rockon: |
