This is for scout leaders, but I'd imagine it'd be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn safe caving techniques.

The Timpanogos Grotto and Great Salt Lake Counsel Are teaming up to put on the Second Caving Leader training.

When: March 24th Classroom work 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
March 31st Field trip to a wild cave. Time to be arranged
Where: 9750 South 2200 West South Jordan UT.
Cost $15.00 (Covers training material, lunch)

Training will be ran by Justin Epps and Max Barker.

Quote: This up coming Saturday, March 24th, I will be holding a training for
people who would like to be a little better at training the youth, or
any other beginner cavers. This does include scouts. We will go over
the regulations that everyone needs to know when training scouts.

The training will be held in the conference room at Hansen
Mountaineering; 1799 North State Street Orem from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Bring a lunch or some snacks (whichever you prefer).

The following Saturday, March 31st, there will be a field trip for the
trainers (cave location/s to be announced). You must attend the
training on the 24th in order to attend the field trip.

I need to make copies of the hand book so I must know how many to have
printed as soon as possible. Please R.S.V.P. by phone or e-mail.
