Check out these photos that Bruce Tremper took of a natural wet slab avalanche up at Gobbler's Knob:

The debris pile at the bottom is 30 feet deep! I'm glad I wasn't sitting at the bottom of that slide. |

That is awesome. I especially like the scrape marks it left behind in the gully. When I backpacked through there last year I noticed this area - how it is barren of plant cover and that the gully below was clearly an slide path.
