oh my gosh! That first picture of the 50 pounder has me salivating! That is awesome!!!!
These are the size salmon I usually caught. Yours is about the double the size, and that is amazing.
Maybe I'll do better this summer
Thanks again for posting your pictures. It has greatly increased my enthusiasm to get back up to Alaska this summer. |

I have come back to this thread a couple of times to see that 50 pounder. It is just awesome!
Compared to anything I have caught in Utah, those salmon would be huge. But they are just par for the course in Alaska. I have caught some nice halibut though. |

That is crazy to be catching trout the size of small salmon.
I am going to have to bring my fishing pole up this summer. |
