If anyone is interested I’m taking my son Kessler exploring Vermillion Creek and Limestone Ridge/Cold Spring Mountain in the Dinosaur area. Since it’s such a remote area, I wouldn’t mind having another adult or two around.
Anyway the area is a colorful desert-like area, but with forest up high and lots of greenery along the creeks. For a day hike, we will be visiting a nice slot canyon with flowing waterfalls and laced with many 1000 year old petroglyphs.
After that we will backpack along the limestone ridge of Cold Spring Mountain, a very scenic area with fine views.
If anyone is interested, just let me know. Anyone whom is sick of winter climbing by then might enjoy a taste of the more desert like peaks.
Any kid that is experienced in scrambling and can hike all day is welcome to come too.

| I *might* be interested in coming along. I have a couple things up in the air for around that time, but I've been meaning to check that area out, and it sounds like you know it pretty well. Let me know if you finalize the dates. |

| I can probably do part of this - need to work till 5 that Friday and then can leave from there (Ogden) - would that work out or are you packing in somewhere Friday? |
