God Bless all in this house...
My name is Jer and I thought it was about time to post. I am not a native by birth, only in heart. The mountains brought me back from years in exhile.
Recently I took my boys on an overnighter in the south slopes of the Uintas. We took advantage of the USFS yurts and had a great time. Although the snow at lower altitudes was lacking, we finally hit the deep stuff around 9,000ft.
I have made this site my homepage and continue to be in awe of all the awesome pictures found here.
I hope to be able to contribute more myself. |

Awesome stuff Jer, I'm planning on winterizing my boys when they hit the teen years. Just keeping it to spring, summer, and fall at the moment with them, too little.
