| We went to Lower Red Pine lake today. Really warm up until the top. The avalanche danger was moderate but we decided to go anyways, and it was well worth it. The trail was packed most the way with the last 1/2 mile requiring snowshoes. I lost a pair of white Oakley M frames :frustrated: , if anyone sees them I would be very appreciative. |

| I've done this hike many times in the summer. I've considered snow shoeing it but always worried about avalanches. Love the pictures. I'll have to try it sometime. |
