Hi everyone. This site rocks.
I moved to St. George in June from Ohio. It's a good thing I don't mind the slightly higher temps here. I was turned on to this site by some fine friends of mine that are in SLC. I have not been able to find time to sign up until now though because I seem to spend a lot of time outside now. Not very many rainy days here to keep you inside. :cool2:

The main hobby that I had in mind when I moved here was mountain biking which I still do quite a bit of. I like to snow ski occasionally. But then the hikes started. And then the hikes with a camera. Now I want to start doing some overnight hikes. And now rock climbing looks pretty cool too. I would not mind getting a dirt bike as well. And maybe a kayak. And...well I think you get the idea.

That's about it. I work nights so time for bed. I would really hate to miss this 73 degree day. :cool2:  :cool2:

Welcome Scott. Some of the guys in the group are headed down that way to bike this weekend. You can take a peek and see how scarey they really are. :lol8:

I'm not sure I have any board worthy pics yet. I have seen some great ones on here. I'll have to dig around.

Yea I am from the Findlay area of Ohio. I know I don't miss driving for 2-3 hours just to get to a trail. Or the 6 months that the sun disappears. You know...the thing they call winter. And yea...my Jeep is Red and Gray...Go Bucks!

Welcome to the site! We'll be in St George this weekend with the posse, doing some Mtn Biking. You're welcome to join us on the trails.

And since you live there now, maybe you can show us some trails we're missing out on. :2thumbs:

I have been to Findlay several times. My father-in-law does insurance and sometimes has to drive all around (he lives in Perrysburg). I have gone with him to Findley a couple of times.

That is awesome that your jeep is red and grey! I love having another Buckeye fan on the site!

O-H!

Hey there you are Scott, I missed your inaugural newbie post a while ago. Glad to have you aboard.

Only one thing though... All you Buckeyes go get a room with yourself :bootyshake: I give you all the Monty Python salute!

Haha! I knew I was opening a HUGE can of worms with that one, but hey, what's life for if you can't make fun of those silly Bucks every now and then :lol8:

My dad was in the U of M marching band and played in a couple of Rose bowls, so naturally I've bled maize and blue since birth.. and there's nothing like game-day Saturdays in Ann Arbor. gives me chills :2thumbs:

When was your Dad in the marching band? My father-in-law was also in the Michigan marching band (and Michigan's orchestra / band)

My in-laws are quite a match. My Mother-in-Law was in the OSU marching band and my Father-in-law in the Michigan. She has the stronger personality so the whole family supports OSU but the rivalry is awesome!
