I am attempting to build a canoe for our scouting summer activity. I am building a "cheap canoe" plan that I got from bateau.com. I am hopeful that it will work but if anyone has some pointers or info that would be much appreciated. thanks :ne_nau:

I can't help with any pointers, but I checked out a bunch of plans at bateau, looks like fun, there has got to be immense satisfaction boating in a creation made with your own hands, so good luck with that, and welcome to the forum.

When I was in scouts we all built a kayak and then floated a couple rivers and lakes..... but that was 30 years ago and all I really remember was I painted my kayak yellow and it didn't sink :2thumbs:
