| I'm gonna say alive because of the way it's curled up like a sleeping dog, plus being on the side of the road would cause most to guess dead along with the stains on the road. |

| This is pretty interesting. It is alive. Yes, it was hit by a car and at the point the picture was taken, it was barely alive. I've always tried to explain to people if you see a deer lying on the side of the road or after it was shot; if the eyes are closed, it's alive. When deer die, their eyes are opened. Deer have a high flight drive when wounded, so if one was to pick up or move a deer that simply is nestled down to die or temporally knocked out of it senses, you can have one nice surprise on your hands. :haha: |
