Some of my family and I are going skiing to Brighton on Saturday, anyone else going skiing this weekend, if so where?

Also, has anyone gone this week? How is the snow? Im planning on butt cold with lots of wind, but its worth it.

I skied Alta Saturday and Sunday, frostbite was imminent the entire time.

Plan to go again this Saturday.

I advise some serious clothing.

I bet that snow is pretty crusty. It has been windy and has not snowed for a bit now. But hell...cant beat it. Have fun and show us some pictures when you get back.

I think fourtycal went last week. I wonder how cold it was, and how the snow was.

I went last Saturday, I dressed warm and was toasty except on my face. The sun was out which helped create the illusion that it was warmer than it was. The snow was pretty icy, but I ride the parks in between storms and icy is fine for jumps and rails so no complaints from me.

I was surprised how nice the snow really was at Snowbasin this weekend. Not really great or anything, but the little bit of powder/crud left wasn't all frozen either. Definitely really cold though....here are a few shots.

I think it is like $60 or so. The groomed runs were ok last weekend, but if you like to go off trail then you might want to wait for better conditions. I scrapped the hell out of my Rossis a couple weeks back trying that. The season pass has been a great deal for me...but they give us military a pretty steep discount.

IT WAS AN AWESOME DAY!11!!1!1!!11!!!11
We went to Brighton and the first half of the day was sunny, little cold, not too much wind. The snow wasn't crust at all, beautiful. we ate lunch from about 12 to 12:30 and went up on the Great Western lift, by the time we got to the top about half the mountain was covered in fog. It was a little windy at time and it was snowing big flakes so it made the experience even better. Great day all around. I dont have any pics because Im an idiot and forgot my camera sorry.
Anyone else go, if so where and how was the snow.

Was pretty much the same conditions Saturday at Alta.
