I went up to Bear Lake to chill for the weekend. The weather was great!! I went for a putt on the KTM. There was some mud in places and I was stopped by the snow in two places. But the greenery was amazing and the temp was perfect. Read the picture comments for more details. Take in the beauty.

Then you'd be at the viewing spur off the Fish Haven Canyon Road.

Is the first trail shown the Left Fork of Fish Haven Canyon (AKA: Hogsback Trail to the Red Sink area)?

I think that's what it's called? I remember a sign and I think "Left Fork of Fish Haven" is what is says. It is not the left fork off the main road. I have been riding these trails since I was probably 8. But I still don't know or cant recall the trail names.

The first trail is a left turn just before a cattle (I think second) guard. Pretty nasty trail in spots on a bike. Really rocky and steep! I connect to the swan flat trail on he back side. Also several other trails to the ski resort and such. Fun ride! You would be the winner on the Where is it contest! :2thumbs: Do you ride this area frequently?

Sorry for the belated reply.

Yes, but not much yet this season. The snow is melting back enough now that some of the trails are opening up. Higher trails, like the Highline Trail, still have a lot of snow.

But it's melting, and the trails are drying out pretty fast now.
