This lake is by Bear Lake just over the Idaho border. We used to go there to swing off a rope from a tree and into the lake. The last time that I went up there it was to fish this summer and the rope was gone. There was a nice note from the Forest Service saying that is no longer allowed. Isn’t that the pits! I hate when they ruin perfectly good fun. pissed:
Anyway this was the first time that I fished this lake. Three of us got there at about 6:00AM with float tubes. We did pretty good! I caught 3 and others caught a few. This small lake has some real potential at the right time of the year. It is up against a mountain and very deep.
Anyhow here is a picture of me swinging off the rope before it got yanked. I have some of the fishing pics that I’ll have to get later. |

| I had a chance to swing on that rope. It was a good one. I saw a few fish up there, but didn't think to bring any gear. |
