It's time to let the fur fly. The Rabbit Population Control crew is gearing up for another weekend of work.

Sure, there are many places in Utah to hunt the vermin, but here's what you have in West Wendover:
Night stay at a casino
King Crab Buffet at the Rainbow
Roulette, baby!!!
Saturday morning, drive 20 miles west to see the ground moving.
Fend for yourselves on rooms, sometimes there are coupons out there for the Nugget for cheap rooms. I haven't made any reservations yet.

Here's the price list for the Seafood Extravaganza Buffet (King Crab, Fridays only)

.......
I'm figuring since New Years Eve is on Sunday, we've got a good chance for availability on Friday night.

I'm up for it. I may just meet you Saturday morning (early). I'm a huge fan of the crab, but may not justify the night stay. What time do you head out Saturday?

Ahh, who knows. Depends how depressed we are from our monetary losses the previous night.

We need to decide a place and time to meet at in the morning. McDonald's in Wendover...end of town there 8-9 AM?. :ne_nau:

Then perhaps at the buffet the night before around 8-9?

I might be able to pull the crab fest, but if all else fails (and I'm not in Ohio) I'll be there Saturday @ McKeeDeees.

What is everybody bringin projectile-launcher wise? Mainly .22s and potato guns or high caliber type like the ar-15 and .50 caliber barrett? I am tempted to leave all the projectile guns at home and shoot the whole mishap with the camcorder. Maybe bring the glock to make a sport out of it. :ne_nau:

I usually hunt w/ my 10/22 and my Model 94 30-30. Shotguns are for those who can't close one eye. :bootyshake:

:roflol: I have a buddy that hunts with a semi-auto shotgun. he thinks he is bad-ass everytime we go casue he usually gets twice the bunnies compared to those of us who shoot with the .22s and long range rifles.

When I bring the .22, I'll hit them, but it takes about 10 seconds for them to stop running. I hear the thud as the metal hits the meat as well, but they just keep running.

I've got 2 banana clips, 25 rounds each, so it's fun to shot, but my 12 gauge knocks 'em out cold. Makes better footage, too.
