NICE!! I need to dig up some old photos. The only recent ones would involve thumper the rabbit in Idaho. I know a spot that you can kick them up every 20 feet and blast away. :rifle:
Where exactly was this deer taken? It seems that everyone is going down south to hunt? The last few times that I went on the deer hunt we didn't see jack. I went with "rockgremlin" several years ago and we got skunked. We saw Elk, Moose, and Doe. (nothing that we could shoot at) :lame: That was near Bear Lake in Logan canyon.
It seems like everytime I dont want to see them. (I.E. driving through a canyon in the dark)
However when the hunt comes around I cant find one? :frustrated: |

| This buck was taken on the last day of the rifle hunt this year. Out of the city of Bicknell just at the base of the Boulder Mtn. Shot it right off a dirt road. For 14 years I hunted my but off hiking, and climbing. The last two years road hunting down south has panned out for me. :D |

Yup…I know what you mean. I used to go with my Dad every year back in the day. We used to always see deer and have a choice of what to bring home. My Dad has a dozen sets of antlers in his garage and a good story for each one. I have come to the conclusion that I am either extremely unlucky or just a complete jack*** when it comes to hunting? :wallbash:
Probably a little of both! When do you have to put your name in the hat for the southern region? I never get registered in time! I miss all of the good deer jerky that we used to have. “rockgremlin” can remember those days! :targetpractice: |
