Hey,

I'm a Hydrologist with the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City. Prior to getting a real job, I had been a river guide, canoe guide, and a ski patrolman.

Part of the job I have now is to warn for flash floods down south. I thought this forum may be a nice source to gain any information on recent flooding in the area.

If you find the time, please drop me a PM if you wish to impart any info on recent flood events, or would like to share any info regarding flash flooding.

Thanks everybody.

Brian.

Hey Brian -

Check back here after heavy rains. Sometimes people will give updates on slot canyons after flash flooding.

Welcome to the forum!

This is great. Usually, I'm trying to find out if our warnings verified or not by calling the dispatch people. It's seems my life has gotten better.

I had worked for Keystone Resort, which had it's own raft business. This was during the early 80's.
