OK, clearly whoever does the player rankings for Yahoo is an idiot, and doesn't rank players based on objective facts. Let's look at the statistical breakdown for 2005:

Palmer edges Manning in every single category, except for interceptions, yet Manning is rated number 1, Palmer number 2. And further, Manning is rated overall at number 6, and Palmer at number 30.

The yahoo rankings are retarded and probably go a lot off of hype. One more reason I like to set my own rankings.

If'n I had a high first round pick I'd most definately pick up Manning or Palmer!!!

I would draft Manning over Palmer..... Manning has proven he can do it year in and year out. Palmer might have just been a one hit wonder.

Palmer was hurt bad at the end of last year, you are taking a chance he will be the same player when he returns. Many mock draft boards also have Brady ranked ahead of Palmer.

Heck..... if someone wants Palmer it shouldn't be to difficult to get him. He is projected as a third round pick in our draft. Manning is projected to go in the first round at sixth overall.

Now my beef..... who the hell ranked Clinton Portis ahead of Tikki Barber?

Probably just because he had two more tds than Barber last year -- since Barber leads Portis in every other category.
