I know some of this will be jibberish to most of you..... but you can easily see some interesting records like the fastest electirc car, fastest stream car, fastest diesel car, fastest truck, ect.... |

This should also help you understand a little bit more. The fast guys on the salt are listed under "Special Construction" and consist of the streamliners and the lakesters. Stereamliners have their wheels enclosed, while lakesters have open wheels.
These are the boys who put up the big numbers.....
