Is it just me, or is anyone else itching for the snow to start falling? I hate when I start getting the urge to snowboard and it's still August. Good thing there is a lot to keep me occupied until then.

i like all seasons, but winter is my fav.
the first pic is from jan 05. two days of near 2 feet of 30% snow in the wasatch (seriously) and the
aftermath of continuing high winds, left large areas of supercreamy herosnow (regularly replenishing themselves)
and a spectacular sunny day ... skiing 5" of smooth butta....
the following is a shot of a cali ski buddy of mine, ian, who earlier this year
hucked this 127' cliff into 5 feet of fresh sierra powder
