This was from dollar lake one year. Its off the trail on the way to Kings Peak. We usually set up our base camp here and then take a day pack to the peak. Great place to catch some good sized brook.
Just one of the rewards for making the trip with a heavy pack. |

So what did you catch them on? My son and I got skunked last week. We only had a few things with us to try-- white power bait, salmon eggs, and spinners.

I use several things: rapalas and cast masters. But my top secret lure is a jakes spinner. It has to the be the larger lure and gold with red dots. I guess it is not a secret anymore. :wallbash: The fish love it and bite every time! Some think I am in the zone. :hydro:
I caught these at Bear Lake. You should have fished there. :bore:

Nice! We should have! My son told me he saw some other guys camped there that had some 14-15 inch fish--a lot like yours. |
