Took the two little ones backpacking this weekend. We packed into Shadow lake from Washington lake. Nice easy hike, good sceanery and good fishing too.

I have never seen these kind of markings on a trout before, who can identify it for me?

Top trout is a Tiger Trout, the other one is a Brook Trout.

So the "Tiger" is a hybrid right?
Yea, I knew what the brookie was although techincally they are a Char. I wondered if anyone would have pointed that out.

Tiger is a hybrid, brook and a lake trout I think?

Yeah, I knew brooks are actually char, not many people do.

Most of the hybrids are, like the Wipers in Willard, and the Tiger Muskie in Pineview.
