Anybody know what the current snow conditions are like in the Uintas. I was thinking about heading up there this weekend, possibly somewhere around Grand Daddy lake and the Highline trail to do some fishing and backpacking.

I hiked into Cuberant Lake last weekend. The Uintas are open! You will find some snow and the trails are a little muddy in spots but not bad.

Attached are a couple of pics from last weekend.

We went fishing last Friday and things are pretty good. As Iceaxe mentioned, just a little snow and mud here and there.

We went to Moon Lake last year, took the canoe and dog and camped on the other side of the lake. My poor dog was all red and bitten on her underbelly. We thought she was covered in blood at first and I was very startled, then saw that it was all bites from something! Maybe deerflies.
