| Does anyone know of a free site that has trail listings. I'd like something that has distance and elevations. Thanks in advance. |

depends what you're looking for. We'd love to help you out here, for free
We're trying to build an index, based on our user's own experience and photos.
Also, click the climb-utah link up top. there's a bunch of cool stuff there. :cool2: |

| Well, I don't really hike much, but I have a friend visiting from Texas soon who wants me to take her hiking somewhere. I think Squaw Peak from Rock Canyon, which is really all I've hiked, might be a little steep for her to handle, so I'm looking for alternatives. |

Like Sombeech said, Climb-Utah is a great site and you can find a ton of info there including maps and route descriptions. Another one is www.summitpost.org. I use this site a lot and it has proved to be very helpful. Another good bet is just posting here. Between the whole group of us, we've been just about everywhere.
Are you looking to bag a peak, or just simple hike? |
