This has been on my mind for years. I want to put my hair in dreadlocks again. For some reason, it's the only style I see myself having. Short hair just doesn't fit me.

And I'm not into the whole hippie scene either. I'm not doing it to look like anybody, or to fit in to a specific group. It's just the way I picture my hair.

I would keep them clean, despite much of the image and impressions of the dreadlock culture. You can wash them every day, just like regular hair. In fact, I don't even want to hang out with anybody else that has dreadlocks, because it's almost the case that they're junkies anyways. Every picture of a white dude with dreadlocks I see, they've got those sunken eyes.

I would keep them neat and clean, and even well groomed. (yes, there is such a thing as well groomed dreadlocks) Unfortunately, most of the ones you see look like they just woke up, because that really is the case.

Mine would look more like this, but a little less gay.

Now all I've got to do is convince the wife.
